A celebration of life will be held on Nov. 6 in New Port Richey, Fla., for Julia Joan Shull, 63, who died at her home on Oct. 15, 2022, after a 22-year battle with cancer. Julia was born in Moline on June 7, 1959, to Stewart and Mary Kathryn McManus, Illinois City, Ill. She married Tracy Shull on April 25, 1992, in Wapello, Iowa. She lived in Muscatine, Iowa, before moving to New Port Richey in 2005.

Julia was a 1977 graduate of Rockridge High School, Edgington, Ill. She worked as a graphic designer at Bandag in Muscatine for 25 years. In Florida, she and Tracy owned and operated varied business interests.

Survivors include her husband, Tracy; daughters Lakyn Shull and Kathryn Shull, New Port Richey; brothers Grant (Bonnie) McManus, Moline; Jeff (Leslie) McManus, Ottawa, Kan., and Barry (Teri) McManus, Muscatine; granddaughter, Harmony Shull, New Port Richey; and six nieces and nephews.
