Christine B. Musgrove

September 30, 1937~October 30, 2022

Christine Beulah Ann Owens Fox Miller Musgrove (Beulah) was known by many names.  Born September 30th, 1937, to the late Zula & Ophard Owens in Tateville, KY. Beulah passed peacefully at Gulfside Center for Hospice Care, New Port Richey, FL.  As a professional Caretaker of Infants & Toddlers, she could have written a book, but instead used the Bible as her Instruction Manual.  No matter how busy she was, she always said her favorite name was Mom.  She was lovingly called Aunt B, by all of her nieces and nephews.  She provided prayers, love & support for all of her family. She was a prayer warrior, of the fiercest kind.  Sunday, October 30th, 2022, she joined our Lord and her heavenly family, and now has a new body.  Since her tragic auto accident in 1965, she has been in pain. No more pain now.

Beulah passed after a long illness with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) in Gulfside Center for Hospice Care, New Port Richey, FL.  She was 85.  Beulah was predeceased by her three husbands:  William Threeman Fox, Howard William Miller, & Claude Lester Musgrove.  Beulah was predeceased by four brothers:  Carlos Owens, Lloyde Owens, Lowell Owens, & Junior Owens.

Beulah is survived by her daughter Sheila Ann Fox Randolph (Terry); her sons Warren Scott Miller (Tiffany) & Stephen Dwayne Miller (Shannon).  Beulah is also survived by grandchildren Dorian Lee, Jessica Withers (Brett), Brandon Miller, Kristopher Miller (Brittany), Emory Ostrander & Rochelle Hancock;  great-grandchildren Katelyn Lee, Dylan Lee, Kaylee Lee, and Kellsie Lee, Jordynn Miller, Aubrianna Miller, Liam Miller, Avery Hancock, & Ashlyn Hancock, and great-great-grandchild, Rylan Lee (6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild).  She is also survived by two sisters (Debra Owens, Betty Kelley, Janet Owens) and many nieces and nephews.

Beulah was a member of the Living Faith Church of the Nazarene in Port Richey.  Beulah thoroughly enjoyed reading God’s word daily, cover to cover, but it was the Guidepost Magazine she carried with her for pleasure.  Beulah’s favorite pastime was watching Perry Mason reruns.  The Gaither Gospel Hour and Gaither Homecoming were also her favorite reruns.  But on Saturdays, she was glued to the cartoons like a kid.  She laughed over and over again with Bugs Bunny and Roadrunner.  Beulah enjoyed cooking and baking.  The family favorites were homemade chocolate pie and Spaghetti.  Beulah will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Beulah’s Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 12th, 1-3 pm at Dobies Chapel & Funeral Home, 6616 Congress Av, New Port Richey, FL 34653 (727) 937-7555.

Electronic Photographs and Memories can be emailed to [email protected]

Dobies will proofread and upload them on their website to share with friends and family.  Make the subject line of your email CHRISTINE MUSGROVE, please.

The family will meet afterward, at Beulah’s church for fellowship & food, Living Faith Community Church of the Nazarene, 11038 Little Road, New Port Richey, FL 34654.

Beulah’s graveside service will be held Saturday, November 19th at 1:00 pm in Grant Memorial Cemetery, 1606 West 26th Street, Marion, IN 46953 (765) 662-7295.

10 [a]A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.
12 She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.
13 She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.
14 She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar.
15 She gets up while it is still night; she provides food for her family and portions for her female servants.
16 She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
17 She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.
18 She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night.
19 In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers.
20 She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.
21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet.
22 She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple.
23 Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes.
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
26 She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
27 She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
31 Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
Proverbs 31

Aunt Beulah helped raise me. I am indebted to her for the rest of life for the things she taught me and for taking care of me. Her teaching helped lay the foundation for who I am today. Thank you Aunt Beulah for all you did for me.

Beulah, will be missed by many, She loved with all She had and always had kind words. Her kids and all her grandkids were her pride and joy, she made sure they knew how much she loved them. She was always there when it mattered most. If we could all be like her the world would be such a better place.

Aunt Beulah was a true saint!! She loved everyone unconditionally just as Jesus loves us. I remember her taking me to church when I was just a child. She has many jewels in her crown today because of her love for serving the Lord. She will be one of the first ones I want to see smiling at me when I go to heaven!! Praying for the family as they endure this difficult time. God is with you.

So very sorry that my aunt Beulah is gone from this life but happy to know she is no longer in pain and is now in heaven. She told me that she was ready to go when the good Lord wanted to take her. She was kind to everyone and enjoyed socializing. Although I have not seen her for several years, I will miss her…
