You could always find him sitting in front of the TV watching western movies with a bag of Lays potato chips by his side.

He was a Jack-of-all-trades and enjoyed an array of hobbies, but most enjoyed woodworking, producing many heirlooms for his children to be passed down for generations to come.

He was an avid baker and often would make his mother’s specialties which included peanut brittle, German Lebkuchen, caramel marshmallow treats and chocolate chip cookies.

He loved his family immensely and would spend many occasions with them. He was always sharing stories of times passed.

As a man, he set the standards high for what a husband, father and grandfather looked like. We will remember him with sorrow, but also with the joy he brings to our hearts for he showed us that he was a man of loyalty, integrity, kindness, enthusiasm, wisdom, compassion, support, dedication to his family and his unwavering love.

Arrangements are being made by Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home in Hudson, FL and he will be laid to eternal rest with full Military Honors.
