Dear Bennett Family,
My childhood is sprinkled with fond memories of your mother, Joan. She was funny and kind with a wonderful artistic streak. It was always fun hanging out at the Bennett household. There is solace in knowing she is at peace now and with your father (Uncle Bob to me).
Nancy and I send our sincere condolences and prayers for your loss.
With our sympathy,
Nancy and Dave Bossert

Grandma Joan, you were truly one of a kind and I thank you for helping to raise me. The thousands of hours I spent with you as a young child will never be forgotten, you had quite an impact on me then and who I would eventually become. We would become separated by many states later on, I wish we could have spent more time together as I grew up and then matured into adulthood but I was thinking of you often. One of my life’s most cherished moments was getting to visit you a few years back and singing ‘Some Enchanted Evening’. I know you were always so proud of me and my singing and I’ll keep that going, I promise. Also one more thing, you were always the family historian, well I would like to continue that now. I never got to tell you, but I was accepted in the SAR and will be sure to teach my children as well about our family lineage and stories. I remember you had notebooks of all this far back family information and you were so detailed with it. Myself, my mom Robin, and my Dad Bob all loved you so much. As you reunite with Grandpa Bob in heaven, be sure to tell him to shut off the whistling tea kettle.
Love,
Bobby
