Chad Stone, 80, passed away on January 19th, 2023 after battling Leukemia. He leaves behind his sons Brett and Chandler Stone, grandchildren Jonas and Grace Sturgeon, significant other Judie McKercher along with brothers James Stone, Gregory Stone, sister Debra Seaman and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Athlene Stone and sister Annette. Chan resided in Lapeer, Michigan and was active in the community. He was a Mayfield Township Supervisor, refereed church league basketball and was the assistant coach of E.T. White Jr. High football. Chan was a Master Plumber and Business Manager of Local 370 Plumbers and pipefitters, Flint Michigan until he retired and moved to Florida. Chan was an Army veteran. A celebration of Life will take place in Lapeer, Michigan at a later date.
