Marguerite Pautard, 93, of Land O’ Lakes, Florida, passed away on March 4, 2023.
Marguerite was originally from Tours, France. In 1956 she immigrated to Canada by boat and on the boat, she met her husband, Yves Pautard. She married him in 1957 and had two children, Alain and Anne, both times traveling back to France to deliver with the help of her mother, a practicing mid-wife. They lived in Montreal till 1974 when they moved to West Palm Beach, Florida. Marguerite was mostly a homemaker, yet held positions as a bank teller and brought her crêpe making knowledge to a small crêperie in Palm Beach. She was the best french cook, making everything from scratch. She brought many french traditions to pass down to her children and grandchildren. She also loved camping, gardening, and getting together with friends at the beach.
In later years, she lovingly cared for her husband’s ailing health. Yves passed away in 2010 shortly after moving to New Port Richey to be closer to family. She will be remembered through her children and two grandchildren (LeAnne and Michael Cooper).
She is survived by her daughter, Anne (James) Pautard-Cooper; her son, Alain Pautard; and two grandchildren.

Anne, your mom sounds like a lovely and well loved woman. I am sure many of her traits will live on in you and your children. I will be thinking of you and your family during this time.
