Melanie Loya, 49, of St Petersburg, Florida, passed away on March 6th, 2023. She is survived by her mother and father, Elaine (Patla) Loya & Eugene Loya; sisters Dawn Loya & Melissa Gilroy; brother Eugene Loya; son Christopher (CJ) Rhubottom; her boyfriend Chris Rhubottom; as well as her family and friends.

This news hurts my heart. Mel was the best part of my brief stay in Florida. She was a phenomenal roommate and partner and a great friend with a huge heart. I have and will continue to remember her with kindness and love. My sympathy is with her family. Mel, I was always your biggest fan.
