SPECKERT, Vernell E., 94, of Port Richey, passed away Saturday, April 8th, 2023, at Gulfside Center for Hospice Care in New Port Richey. She was born in St. Louis, Mo., and upon retiring, moved from St. Louis to the Port Richey area over 30 years ago. Vernell was a long time parishioner of St. Michael’s Catholic Church having served the church in various volunteer positions. Survivors include one nephew, Bruce Welsh of Virginia; and one niece, Susan Sneddon of Ohio. Services will include a visitation and funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. April 14, 2023, at Dobies Funeral Home with Father Paul officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Gardens.
