Larry Walter Skaggs was born on October 10, 1955, to Albert and Mildred Skaggs in Campbellsville, KY. He passed away on April 28, 2023,
in Spring Hill, FL. Larry is survived by his wonderful loving wife Betty, two sons Brandon and Daniel and their families. He is also survived by
his two brothers Bill and Donald Skaggs and sister Elizabeth DeSpain who still reside in Campbellsville. He was a loving father, husband,
brother, and “Pop” to all his grandkids. He was an avid sports fan, always cheering on the UK Wildcats and New York Yankees. Larry loved
music, going to concerts and listening to the music of John Prine, amongst many other artists. He was a known regular at Tampa Bay
Downs where he made uncountable friends and loved watching the horses race; he loved and was loved by all his Florida family. If you
knew him, you know that Larry never met a stranger. He’s gone but will be loved and missed forever. The family chose cremation and there will
be no services at this time.
