Jacqueline A. Raymer (Basner), age 86, passed to heaven, peacefully on May 30, 2023.
Jackie was best known for many loving attributes. Most special was her Faith in God and ensuring her children carried on that faith. Her cooking skills were amazing. Sunday dinners, homemade meatballs, fried chicken, and chocolate chip cookies were incredible. Her laughter, hugs, and love of animals are carried on in all her children.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline and Paul Basner, and her daughter Linda (d.2017).
Her love and passion for life live on in her children: Dorothy Raymer, Don (Amy) Raymer, Sue (Larry) Stull, and Scott (Marshell) Raymer, as well as numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The family wishes to thank the local hospice and caregivers for making her last days peaceful
and comforting.

Growing up, Mom was the love of my life.
Truly a special lady. I remember telling her someday I was going to marry someone just like her. I am lucky enough to of found that person in my wife. Neighborhood kids would show up just about dinner time. She never turned anyone away for a meal. Thanks Mom for bringing me to God, and the memories of love for a young kid.

Mom, I’m so sorry that your sister, Aunt Linda and your brother, Don Basner , were not mentioned. They did love you and unfortunately my brothers and sisters are incapable of loving beyond their own life. I know you were sad so many times. Your call when Linda passed was beautiful. You expressed your loss of a child and is sister. Thank you mom for loving me when they couldn’t. I’ve talked to Aunt Linda…she felt the loss. It’s funny how siblings become so bitter over nothing but yet react in ways that are hateful and leave God out of the equation. You’re with Him now. I love you mom.
