February 02, 1936~June 20, 2023

Agnes Rose Clark, 87, was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who never needed a map as being lost was not a word in her vocabulary. She was always on an adventure! On June 20, 2023, Agnes took her final adventure when she was called home so she could dance with her beloved husband, Thomas, who has been awaiting her arrival. Their son, Thomas Clark and daughter, Jane Clark Salvarezza, are sure he has a lot of responses saved up from her daily conversations and questions for him since 1988. Agnes’s five granddaughters; Charlene Boggs, Amanda Tabor, Jennifer Teixeira, Nicole Gingerella, and Jaclyn Rios, will continue to teach the 11 (+1 on the way), great grandchildren the importance of mirror morning pep talks, greeting yourself with “hello gorgeous”, the necessity of a good cup of coffee (but please don’t speak to anyone until after the 2nd cup) and to always have sugar cubes ready and available. They are the cure-all for everything from a stubbed toe to a broken heart.

If you knew Agnes, you knew she was one of a kind, she made and lived by her own rules. Agnes would drive her iconic blue caddie up and down US 19 and downtown New Port Richey with horns always blowing in her direction.  Not friendly horns but horns to alert Agnes to get into one lane. She always took her piece right from the middle, whether it was driving in multiple lanes or a slice of cake!

Agnes danced her way into every room with a smile with dance moves that were contagious. We will miss our midnight advice phone calls, or the voicemails she left when she was laughing at herself for running the car into the garage.  The famous white Christmas tree, plastic covered furniture, and her amazing gourmet dog chef skills will live on through the stories we share and the memories we cherish.

Agnes’s wish was that everyone would learn to sing in silence and, if it’s raining… Just dance!

Agnes’ requests were that her family celebrate her life together and tell stories of how much joy she brought to us. There will not be a public service however, if you would like to share your best memories and stories with the family, you may do so by sending an email [email protected]
