Jon Lemasters of New Port Richey, Florida passed away on June 22, 2023 at his home. He was born on August 2, 1955 in Germany to Melvin (Steve) Kinion and Fern Kinion.

He is survived by his fiancée, Susan Lane, his son Ray, his mother Fern Kinion, of Wesley Chapel, Fla., and his sister, Sharon Hall, of Wesley Chapel, Fla., and her children and their spouses, Alicia Conover (Spencer Conover) and Jeremy Hall (Jamie Hall). He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin (Steve) Kinion and his nephew, Louis Hall.

Jon grew up in Colorado, eventually moving to Florida in the late 1990’s. He served in the Air Force in 1973.

Jon was passionate about cars and made it his life’s mission to learn everything there was to know about cars, especially those in the luxury category.  He loved rock and roll music and would go to local concerts to hear bands play the tunes from his young adult years.

Jon loved his family and spent time with his mother in various ways, talking about baseball, food, and daily activities. He spent the last several years with his love and fiancée, Susan.

He truly loved his home and felt at peace there. He enjoyed admiring the flowers, particularly his orchids, and the various home improvements he made.

Jon’s outlook on life was positive and hopeful. His joy, happiness and smiling face were evident to those around him.
