72, of Palm Harbor, FL, died on December 18, 2018. She is survived by her son, Kyle (Lori); grandchildren, Sloane, and Sydney; and sister, Gail.

Dear Kyle, Carol and I were saddened to learn of your Mother's passing. We hope she had a painless and peaceful passage to Heaven. We knew her to be a kind, caring and nurturing person of the highest moral standards and you are a living testament to her many qualities. Of course most of our associations were soccer related. Your Father was especially important to my son Brian who he mentored in soccer much like he did with you. This is a sad and introspective time for you. For those of us who have experienced the loss of our parents, the pain is real but their memory is sustaining. I hope your period of mourning will be as easy as can be expected and that your Mother's memory, along with your Father's, will be a continuing source of strength and love. Heaven got another Angel. I had the privledge of working with Jan at St. Cecelia School. She taught my daughter Brittney in 1st grade. Brittney still says she was her favorite teacher. Brittney is now 28. Jan was an amazing teacher I never ever saw her mad or say anything bad about anyone. She was an Angel on Earth that's why I know where she is now. Thank you for sharing your Mom with us St. Cecelia was lucky and all the kids who had her are better because they knew her. Rest in Peace Jan you will be missed but always in our hearts.The Majer Family Loves You. Bless you and your family.

Dear Kyle,
Your parents were good friends of ours when you were a kid, and I know you have kept in touch with both Adam & Alex as you have grown up and now have families of your own. Your father and Russ were not only business friends, but great Gator fans & we enjoyed our couples weekends in Gainesville with your mom & dad.
Both teachers of young children, your mother & I had great “school talks” and I always admired how loved & respected she was at St. Cecelia's. We have many wonderful memories of Countryside Country Club and fun with your parents. Both great people of high character.
We are very sad to learn of your mother's death, but know that your many wonderful memories of both of your parents will always bring comfort to you, your wife and your children. I know Janet was a Special Grandma!
