Jean Simpkins departed this life on Aug 7, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born to the late Gertrude and Albert St Clair and was the second of 3 children. Jean was raised in Brooklyn, N.Y.ย  After a traditional education she met and fell in love with Robert Simpkins Sr. They wed in 1959 and from this union 8 children were born. Jean and Robert found Jehovah in 1961 and were faithful servants who witnessed to everyone they came in contact with. She was preceded in death by her late husband Robert and a son Gregory.

Jean worked in the medical field and was caring and compassionate to all she came in contact with. After retiring she and her late husband relocated to Florida. She enjoyed spending time with her family whom she loved dearly. She loved to experience new things and loved to go on cruises with her late husband. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, watching soap operas, and westerns.

She leaves to cherish 7 children Donna, Warren, Robert, David, Michael, Derrick, and the Fantastic Trinna. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grands, friends, family and many who loved her.

Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love you showed for his name

We know that this is a deep loss for your family. Sister Simpkins was always ready to perform a service, entertaining and there for her family. May you be comforted in knowing that when Jesus calls her during the resurrection, she will answer. Please accept our deepest sympathy.
