For Alexandra who embraced all of us with her heart, through hard times or easy times.
So, I remember our first encounter. I met a bright and smiling person who, without having shared experiences with her, won me over with her kindness and disarming humor. She opened her home to us, hosted us and cooked for us Greek food from her heart. We laughed for hours as if we were old friends.
A woman with unique strength, who fought in her life at high pace, against many obstacles that were not able to prevent her from providing to other people.
Alexandra, with so much dignity and willingness to offer, pulled all of us forward to become, and so we became, better people.
I was lucky to meet you and you honored me with your friendship.
You were a special person and special people are not forgotten.
