Fotini ( Tula ) Korahais, 88, of Port Richey, passed away peacefully on September 25th, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Greece on March 18th 1935 to John and Kalomira Villiotis and moved to New Jersey in the U.S. as a young woman with her parents and most of her siblings. It was there that she became a U.S. Citizen, an accomplished seamstress, and met her husband, Geroge Korahais. She was a member of St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church where she sang in the church choir and later became a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church when she relocated to Florida with her husband in 1990. She enjoyed working at bridal shops as a seamstress altering wedding gowns for excited brides and the dresses of their bridesmaids, until retiring. She was a Very Beautiful, Sweet, Smiling, and Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Friend, & Neighbor, who never spoke an unkind word. She will Forever be Loved and Missed.
She is Predeceased by her parents, sister Barbara Kannell ( Leo ), and her Brother Vangelis Villiotis. She is survived by her husband George, Daughter Elizabeth Tzaras, Son Andrew Tzaras, Daughter-in-law Angela Tzaras, Granddaughter Vanessa Tzaras, Great Grandson Nikolas Tzaras, Brother Jimmy Villiotis ( Gail ), Sisters Cleopatra Papakonstantinou ( George ) and Maria Kolimbiris ( George ), and many Nieces and Nephews.
On Monday October 2nd, there will be a viewing between 11 am – 12pm. Followed immediately by a church service at St. George Greek Orthodox Church at 9426 Little Rd. New Port Richey, Fl. 34654. Burial at Grace Memorial Gardens, 16931 US Hwy 19 N., Hudson Fl. 34667, to commence straight from the church. There will be a gathering for food and drinks at a location to be announced after the funeral.
