Ida Catherine Stevens (nee Sullivan), of Hudson, Florida, passed away on September 30th, 2023, at the age of 104. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Robert Stevens. Devoted mother of Catherine Rainey (Douglas) and the late Joseph Robert Stevens Jr. Grandmother to Jon Douglas Rainey (Jennifer); great-grandmother to Brianna Christine Johnson (Corey); and great-great-grandmother to Isabelle and Scarlett Johnson.
Born September 26th, 1919 in Boston, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Patrick and Elizabeth E. (Peeples) Sullivan. She was the youngest of eight children and is survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Known as Mickey to family and Kay to friends, she was a very caring and energetic person who enjoyed her family, friends, gardening, swimming, traveling, T’ai Chi and Mah Jongg. She lived in Massachusetts, Colorado, New Jersey, Maryland, and Florida. She was an active parishioner of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church and was an usher for many years,
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation and Funeral on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023, at Dobies Funeral Homes. Burial immediately following at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens.
