In loving memory Shawn Michael Mullins
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a dear father, son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin, Shawn Michael Mullins, who left this earth on October 16th, 2023. Shawn was not just a person; he was an embodiment of love, with a heart so immense that it touched everyone he encountered.
Shawn entered this earth feet first on September 25, 1985 in Titusville, FL. From his early days in Pasco County, Shawn displayed a mischievous spirit that brought endless laughter to our lives. Growing up with his mother and stepfather, Denise and Artie, and two brothers, Steven and Andrew, their bond was unbreakable. Despite the typical sibling rivalries, the love between them was unparalleled. Shawn’s laughter and mischief echoed through every corner, creating unforgettable memories.
A gifted athlete, Shawn’s passion for sports, especially football, earned him the nickname “Mully Mug.” His charisma was magnetic, making him the boisterous, loud, loving, and hilarious soul in any room. Family gatherings were filled with joy, especially when Shawn was around. He shared a special connection with his many cousins creating timeless tales of laughter and camaraderie.
One couldn’t think of Shawn without recalling his immense heart and deep love for his family. Shawn was a loving father to Waylen and Saniyah. Despite his personal struggles, he faced life with a smile, reminding us all of the power of positivity. He never hung up the phone or left without an “I Love You”. In recent years, Shawn found solace in his faith, embracing Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. His unwavering belief brought him immense comfort, and he shared his faith with a contagious enthusiasm, assuring everyone that, no matter the circumstances, he was in God’s hands.
As we bid farewell to Shawn, we take solace in the knowledge that he watches over us with his infectious smile, perhaps teasingly offering us a slice of legendary “Ash pie.” It’s not a goodbye but a “see you later.” Shawn’s love, laughter, and enduring spirit will echo in our hearts forever, reminding us to live with the same boundless love and zest for life that he did.
Shawn was preceded in death by his father Wade Mullins and paternal grandparents Dee and Patsy Mullins and his cousin Allen Feagley. He leaves behind his children Waylen and Saniyah, mom and stepfather Denise and Artie, brothers Steven and Andrew, maternal grandmother Pat Mullins, many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends, as Shawn never met a stranger.
Rest in peace, dear Shawn, Until we meet again. ❤️

Our hearts are very sad at your passing. We remember you and your Dad visiting us in Bell while you were still in high school to attend a Gator game in Gainesville and had a fun day because of your love for football! It was wonderful to know that you had accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savoir. Rest peacefully my dear nephew, Shawn, in His arms. Uncle Frank & Aunt Mary Jo Padilla.
