Marie Theresa Glover, 80, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed on November 7th, 2023, due to complications following a stroke during Hurricane Ian in 2022. She was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on November 1, 1943. Marie graduated from Liberty High School and entered service in the United States Air Force where she met her husband, Jim. After serving in the Air Force, she and Jim lived in New Brighton, PA and Bath, PA and later moved to Tarpon Springs, FL. Marie and Jim welcomed their only daughter Theresa into the family in 1976. Marie earned her teaching degree from the University of South Florida. After graduation she founded and directed All Saints Nursery School before entering the public school system as an elementary school teacher.
Marie dedicated her life to her large family; she knew every birthday and loved everyone. She especially loved children, dedicating her life to education. She retired in 2007 from Blanton Elementary School to dedicate her time to her beloved grandchildren. In retirement she also loved to create family keepsakes, attend reunions, research genealogy, and go on cruises with her siblings. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, James Glover; daughter Theresa (Bron) Badurek; grandchildren Henry and Lily Badurek; as well as siblings Joseph Kiefer, Gail Palmere, and John Kiefer. Family members who preceded Marie’s passing are her parents Joseph and Henrietta Kiefer and her brother Edward Kiefer.

Being from a military family, and at her request, her ashes will be scattered at sea.

Ms Marie was loved by all and will be missed! We had many wonderful years living next door….3 cup salad recipe, Easter Egg hunts, and All Saints Church get togethers. The Pinciotti family will never forget Marie. The world needs more kind, loving people like Marie Glover.
