With heavy hearts, Vern or Butch, as he was known as, passed away on Nov. 10, 2023, with family by his side. He was 75 years young.
He was loving life in Florida with his wife Lori and his many friends and family. Together they enjoyed traveling and exploring new places. Vern was an excellent carpenter and could fix just about anything! He was always helping out if he could. Vern was quick witted and had a great sense of humor.
Vern is survived by his wife of eight years, Lori Fox; his three sons, Rick (Deb) Fox, Scott (Kari) Fox, John (Holly) Fox;
eight grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Vern was the oldest of 12 children and is survived by Bev Fox, Jim Fox, Patty Walker, Norma Sierakowski, Merlin (Theresa) Fox, Marilyn Gurtner, Shirley (Daryl) Ince, Nancy (Darrell) Johnson and Tom (Angie) Fox.
He was preceded in death by his Mom and Dad, Vernon and Ruby Fox; brothers Ken Fox and Ricky Fox; brothers in law, Donny VanGundy, Randy Walker, and LeRoy Sierakowski.
Vern, you are loved so much and will be missed! Until we meet again, my love.

We are saddened to hear about Vern passing away. We hope you are surrounded by loving family and friends, and good memories. You had an amazing life together, and we have many memories of happy times at Summer Haven!

Deepest sympathy on the passing of your loved one , Vern. We did not know him that well , however, met and chatted with him as we did our daily walks in the Park . He was a friendly man , always a smile on his face . He will be missed in the Park .
