My Dear Mama, changed your address to Heaven when you found out what God looks like and approximately 1 a.m on November 13, 2023 right at home so peacefully, per your request. Thank you for loving me through thick and thin no matter how much trouble that I got in. If truth be told it was a lot. By the way, I am very sorry for all of your sleepless night that you stayed awake to pray for my ignorance and safety as I traveled down so many wrong roads though my life’s journey thus far. And for all the times I unbeknownst to you when I borrowed your car in the middle of the night. I was also praying too that I made it back home safely before daylight. I am your 2nd born daughter yet 3rd in line. Afterall, 3rd time is a charm. Thank you for teaching me so many things. It sure is lonely in this ole house without you telling us all what to do. I am very thankful that we took the time to make the time to mend our fences before our time ran out. I could go on & you know that. It is time for me to really grow up now. Thanks again for showing me how.
Love Always,
From your Brat Child
Miss. DiAnne Edwards

Condolences, love and prayers to the whole family. Mae loved you all so very much and always kept me up to date how everyone was doing. She was also proud of her grandkids and all their accomplishments. I will miss her and her calls she was always so sweet to check in on us in our crazy busy lives and encourage us. I will miss her dearly. I loved her sense of humor and laugh and how she interacted with you all. I am comforted to know that she has no more pain and that she is rejoicing in Heaven with Jesus. We will meet again Grandma Mae!

You always cared, you always called, you always wished the best. You worried hard, you loved harder, your great big soul will never die. I thank God I was here to see you before you went, even if you weren’t all there. I know some part of you felt me next to you, knew I was finally back in your last hours. You worked hard, took care of your family for a long long time, you deserve to rest. You loved the song, “and I’m gonna touch those golden gates, just you wait and see”. It never felt so real until now. I’m gonna miss making you peanut butter and jellies even though I thought it was weird you didn’t like that much it on the bread. I’m gonna miss you. But I’m glad you’re in a better place now. I love you

My Dearest Mae,
What precious memories flood my mind. They are so many. The emptiness I feel has left me speechless which is seldom for you always told me I talk too much. ( Your) humor)
I pray I told you that I love you often while you were here because you said you loved me as a sister regularly. (GOD’s love).
That sister love was quick to praise and correct. ( GOD’s leading way).
And when the two of us joined in HOLY GHOST prayer in agreement the chains of hell were broken and the heavens rejoiced. (A prayer warrior)
I thank GOD, you were a huge part of my life and my prayer is that your love of GOD continues through your family and mine as they receive the blessings and GOD gets the glory! Amen
