Sally, I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. Bob and I would chat when he was out puttering in the yard and I was walking. I had no idea he was ill, but did realize when I saw the notice, that I hadn’t seen him in a while. I’ll miss our chats. You have my heartfelt sympathy.

Hi Sally I’m so sorry and shocked to hear about Bobby . I’ve thought of you both often over the years ! I can picture your smiles and hear your laughter ! Bobby was close to me for only a few years but especially close during a few weeks that were among the most pleasant and memorable of my life . Young boys with our Dads and Uncles on a remote lake in Canada . While the men were out in their motor boats trolling for walleye ,we sat in our little row boat ,near camp, looking down into weeds , anxiously waiting for a monster pike to strike ! Usually it was a pretty little perch , lol . I will always treasure those memories with my big cousin . I felt happy and safe with Bobby . Your grief will be great but your memorable joys will be greater ! I am sure of that !

It is with great sorrow and a sense of tremendous loss that I have learned of Bob’s death. It is hard to put into words to convey our feelings of this great loss. He was a much beloved cousin (I know I speak for all 17 cousins when I say this). Sending my heartfelt condolences and prayers to Bob’s immediate family, Sally, Carrie and Wendy. Bob will be sorely missed. I looked up to him as a role model and for all achieved in his life, from being a drill sergeant in the Army to being an executive at Kodak. I remember him standing in his front yard and whistling over to us in our back yard. Those were happy days for all of us. He would often take time to drop by to say hello to everyone. He was such a kind and thoughtful person and a much beloved cousin. He will leave a big hole in everyone’s hearts. With much Love to all who knew and loved Bob.
Love, Gloria
