John (Jack) L. Sullivan Sr., 89, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away on January 21st, 2024.

Jack was born on St Patricks Day in 1934 which led to many great Irish style birthday parties over the years. He grew up in Worcester MA. His organized trips to Fenway Park, Saratoga Race Track, local casinos or dog tracks for coworkers and friends were always a highlight.

An ardent RedSox fan for 80+ years, Jack found his passion in fantasy baseball which kept him fully occupied during his retirement years. There was always a game on at his home in Florida via the MLB network. During the off season he spent time building doll houses.

He is survived by his children John L. Sullivan Jr a. wife Christine with whom he lived in Tarpon Springs FL, Debra Foley and companian Michael Gaffney of Worcester MA, Karen Hauersperger and husband Matt of Maroa IL, Michael Guymon and wife Michelle of Columbia SC; stepchildren Debra Moore-Kerr of Pensacola FL, Duane Nelson of Alabama, John Sandridge and wife Shawn of Crowne Point IN; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as brother Raymond Sullivan and wife Diane. He was predeceased by his longtime companion Bertha (Jean) Sandridge; sister Shirley Morris; as well as brothers Harold and Gerald.

Jack made friends everywhere he went and will be dearly missed. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

It saddens both Ray and I as we hear of Jacks passing. Loved it when we lived in Douglas and Jack would attend our cook-outs and card games. Found memories of our visit to Indiana meeting his little girl at that time, introducing us to his co-workers at the restaurant he was managing. He was always very kind and LOVED HIS FAMILY. My sons Ray Jr. And Bobby always looked forward to his visits . Ray Jr. Naming is first born son after him.
John and family we are keeping you in prayer as you morn the loss of your Dad. May he now rest in peace and enjoy he’s new home with our lord. Meeting up with his mom and Dad and sister Shirley and brothers Harold and Gerry! I bet they had a card game planned upon his arrival in heaven🙏🙏🙏
Again our condolences to all those Jack left here on earth! God Bless!

Deb and family, My condolences on the loss of your dad. It’s tough to lose our loved ones. A bowling pin boy, that must have been a fun job back in the day. May he rest in peace.

I met him at South Lake Kia in 2013. We were both there getting work done. Talked with him a lot and found we both had prostate cancer. I invited him to my group. Met in person last winter and hoped to see him this year. He was a great and fun y man and will be missed by many in my group.
