Wayne I. Miller, of Holiday, Florida, passed away on Monday, January 15th, 2024.
Wayne was born in Aplena, Michigan. He was a resident of Michigan until he retired from michigan Department of Corrections and then moved to Florida.
Wayne was a US Veteran who served in Vietnam with the US Army. He loved to golf, fish, and hunt. He had many stories to share of his golfing, fishing, and hunting adventures. Wayne was a person who was ALWAYS willing to help others. He never met a stranger. Wayne will mostly be remembered as a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Wayne is survived by his wife Sandra Miller; son Steven (Nancy) Miller; daughters Shannon (Eric) Nall, Chari Patrick; grandchildren Alicia Miller, Christopher Patrick, Robyn Wooden, and Alex Patrick; great-grandchildren Zackary Williamson, Eladio and Angel Martinez, Bennett and Abigail Wooden, and Molly Patrick; brothers Bruce (Mary) Miller and Richard (Maryanna) Miller; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Erwin and Edna Miller; sister Sandra Guyott; granddaughter Amanda Vaughn; as well as son-in-law Timothy Patrick.
The family will have a memorial sercice on Tuesday, February 27th, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Dobies Funeral Home, 4910 Bartelt Rd, Holiday, Florida, 34690.
