Paulette “Pete” Evans passed away March 22nd, 2024, in Hudson Florida, at age of 70.  She was born to Paul and Viola Forehand on February 1, 1954, in Lincoln Illinois.
Paulette is survived by her mother, Viola Bennett of Pekin, Illinois. Two daughters, Toni (Saford) Bortell of Manito Illinois, and Misty Evans of Pekin Illinois. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great- grandchildren.  One sister, Sandy Ward, of Astoria, Illinois.  One brother, David Forehand, of Ladysmith, Wisconsin.  Paulette was further survived by her partner, Lawrence “Arty” Boker.

She was proceeded in death by her father, Paul Forehand, and her bonus father, Jim Bennett.

Paulette had a career as a bartender in various establishments in Manito area and most recently retired from years of bus driving in Port Richey, Florida area.

At this time, there will be no services.  In lieu of flowers, charitable donations to an organization of your choice are appreciated.  The Dobies Funeral Home in Hudson, Florida, is assisting with arrangements.
