Loving mother and daughter, Serena Ferrio’s love of life didn’t come to an end with her death. Serena passed from this life on May 15, 2024 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Serena was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Serena’s pride was in her children, Aiden and Cheyenne. Simple pleasures in life brought her joy. Her flowers, music, crafts, and friends. Her bright smile will be missed.

Serena is survived by her children Aiden (11) and Cheyenne (8), her father Raymond Ferrio and stepmother Jill Ferrio, her mother Doreen Ferrio and stepfather Jack Cutler. Her grandparents Alice and George Giles. Her brother Dylan Ferrio. Stepsister Breanna May, stepbrothers Cory Chin Loy, Taylor Chin Loy and Owen Goldberg.

Serena’s life will be honored on May 25, 2024 at Dobies Funeral Home at 701 East Tarpon Avenue in Tarpon Springs, FL. Visitation hour begins at 4 P.M. The service is at 6 P.M.

Gods Garden

God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain.
And knew that you would never get well on earth again.

When we saw you sleeping so calm and free of pain,
We would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again.
