Mona Bell McNeil, age 82, of New Port Richey, FL, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024. She was born on April 11, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan and later moved to Rochester, NY where she met and married her late husband, Alan McNeil. She is also preceded in death by her parents Fillmore and Martha Bell and brother Richard Bell.
She is survived by two sons, Michael McNeil (Tammy) of New Port Richey, FL and David McNeil (Elizabeth) of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren Ryan McNeil and Marissa McNeil. She is also survived by sisters Alice Blanco and Karen Best.
Mona graduated from John Marshall High School in Rochester, NY and attended the Rochester Institute of Technology. She worked at Eastman Kodak Company for 31 years, and then Reimelt Corporation for 14.years. She enjoyed reading and knitting/crocheting, loved her french bulldog and was an avid bowler with her league and friends in Hudson, FL.
There will be a visitation for family and friends at White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford, NY on June 17 at 11 am. We will always carry her memory in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (www.lbda.org).
