George L. Pappas, 78, of New Port Richey, Florida passed away peacefully on May 24th, 2024. George was a beloved husband of Liny Pappas for 54 years; devoted father of Christine Totterdell (and husband Steven) and Louis Pappas; loving grandfather of Chrysovalantis Pappas; dear brother of Peter Pappas and Jim Pappas; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
George, a decorated USAF Vietnam Veteran, touched the lives of all who knew him with his warm and loving nature. He loved animals, cars, and sports and enjoyed conversing, bowling, golfing, computing and music.
Friends and family are welcome to share memories and celebrate the life of George at Dobies Funeral Home, 8825 Old County Rd. 54, New Port Richey, FL 34653, on Saturday, June 22nd from 1:00pm – 3:00pm.

I was blessed to spend a few moments in the room with him weeks before he passed and I told him there is no greater place to be than in the arms of Jesus. He looked at me and he smiled. Thoughts and prayers to you all. Heaven gained an Angel. ♥️
