Gary T. Boggess, 71, of Holiday, Florida, passed away on May 25th, 2024. He is survived by his sister Debra Fogle; companion Joanne Doane; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Several years ago Gary contacted me through Facebook. We’d known each other in Ohio during his I Don’t Care days, I certainly was enamored of his good lucks and serious talent. And Gary was also easy to get to know. Maybe 10 years later he found me in NYC, and we tossed some winks back and forth but nothing came of it. Then when we connected again on FB it was clear we’d grown apart, fundamentally, on political terms. For some reason today I thought to poke around and see what he was up to— he was so driven by his career— only to find he’d passed last year. I felt sad. I still do. He was a spicey and strong in so many ways. I’m sure he had many many more plans. My condolences to all he called friend or loved. I’m sure he will be missed.
