Diane Marie Kotchey (Albert), age 66, passed away on June 18th, 2024, after a courageous battle with a long illness. Though her time with us was too short, she lived a rich and fulfilling life. Diane was born on October 16, 1957 in Pittsburgh to Roy and Gertrude Albert. She grew up in Pittsburgh, built a successful life, and married Joseph W Kotchey, with whom she raised a loving family.

After years of working alongside her husband in their family business and raising their children, Diane decided to pursue her passion for nursing. She earned her RN degree and dedicated many years to caring for others in the nursing field. Later, she retired and moved to her cherished home in Florida, where she enjoyed crafting, cooking, and baking. Diane had a warm smile for everyone she met and welcomed them with open arms.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Diane is survived by her loving husband, Joseph W Kotchey, her daughter Jessica (Kotchey) Azevedo, and her son Joseph M Kotchey. She was a devoted grandmother to her three grandsons, John Azevedo III, Daniel Azevedo, and Luke Azevedo, who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her brother, Roy D Albert Jr.

Diane leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and generosity that will be remembered by all who knew her.
