I will miss my little sister. I’v always admired her. She had many health issues during her life yet she faced them with courage. She was many things – wife, sister, mother, teacher, friend, but most importantly she was a Christian. That means today she is at peace with Jesus. And that means I will get to see her again. I love you, Jean, see you again soon.

Jean was a beloved friend and coworker. I will miss her smile and laughter and greatly her friendship. She was an outstanding teacher who loved and understood children of all capabilities. During parent conferences she had a wisdom that helped the parents and the children and other teachers involved. Her love of Jesus was visible and her mainstay. She was a remarkable woman in so many ways, a devoted wife, beloved mother, and cherished friend. She has left a large hole in many hearts including mine.

I’m so sorry to hear of Jean’s passing. We worked together many years ago. She is one of the people who helped bring my husband and I together so long ago. She was a strong, intelligent, caring woman. May she rest in peace.
