George C. Gutchess, 87, of Hudson, Fl, formerly of Syracuse, NY, passed away on August 21, 2024, with adoring family by his side. To know George was to love him—his warmth, kindness and generosity were evident to all whose lives he touched. 

George retired from Upstate University Hospital in 1992 after a long career in the O.R. where he formed many close friendships. 

George was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Gary, his sister, Beverly Partridge, and many dear friends. Left to cherish his memory are his niece, Kimberly Tyoe (Kevin Hackenfort), her children, Tim Okun, Kristie Okun, Tricia Wilson, and their families; nephews and nieces, Michael, Jeffrey, Juliann (Monica), and Jacklyn Partridge and their families, and longtime dear friend, Lee Crenan.

A small memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.
