Lenora Montrey Demmick, a woman whose presence illuminated every room she entered, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024, in Hudson, Florida. She was born on February 15, 1952, in Fort Dix, New Jersey to the loving parents George and Eleanor Premore. Lenora’s life, spanning 72 vibrant years, was a testament to love, grace, and unwavering devotion to her family and passions.
Lenora was the epitome of elegance and originality. Her flair for fashion was unmatched; she had an innate ability to assemble the perfect outfit for any occasion, complete with the most exquisite accessories. Her family and friends fondly remember her as a compassionate listener who was always ready to offer wise advice, even if it sometimes came when they least expected it. Her heart, full of love, embraced everyone she encountered, making her absence deeply felt by all.
After graduating from Pennsbury High School in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, in 1970, Lenora pursued her interests with zeal. Her dad bought her a leather making table which began her love for creating things. She soon took up photography and had a knack for capturing the rarest of moments, forever cementing core memories. She was an avid antique collector, dealer, and jeweler, known for her keen eye for unique treasures. Her passion for reading was insatiable, with her preferences spanning from captivating romance novels to enthralling sci-fi adventures. Her DVR was perpetually stocked with her favorite shows, a testament to her eclectic tastes. We should also never forget her love of music and dancing. She was never one to turn down a concert or just simply dance with her kids and grandkids in the living room.
Ralph and Lenora’s love story, which began as dependent army children in France in 1958, was solidified in marriage on March 8, 1980, in Pensacola, Florida. Their union was a beacon of love and partnership, lasting over four decades. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising four devoted children: Heather Anglin, Nicole Temperton, Kristina Demmick, and Josh Demmick. She was also a wonderful mother-in-law to son-in-law Rick (Nicole) Temperton and daughter-in-law Samantha (Josh) Demmick. Lenora’s legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Christopher, Caleb, Cole, Brayden, and Brinley, and her great-grandchild, Anthony.
Lenora is also survived by her beloved sister Roberta Marrone and her husband Peter Marrone, who shared countless memories and moments of joy with her.
In honor of Lenora’s wishes, a private funeral service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a date to be announced later. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Lenora’s memory consider making a donation to a charity of their choice.
Lenora Montrey Demmick’s life was a symphony of love, creativity, and generosity. She touched the lives of many with her radiant spirit and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Lenora, we will miss you always. While I will miss you terribly, I take comfort in knowing we will be reunited one day in Heaven. You were a pillar of love for us all and the best Sister-in-law anyone could ask for. You will live on in my memories, and in the lives of you Husband and all your Children.
Respectfully, love you and miss you. Mike.
