It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Lynn Marie (Magrum) Bell on September 24th, 2024 at Bayonet Patient Health in Hudson, FL. Mom was born in Albany, NY on August 5th to Celena (Paulter) and Paul Magrum of Voorheesville, NY. She graduated from Voorheesville High School and started work at Brown’s Piano and Waterbed store in Albany, NY where she met our late father Charles Richard Bell. Mom started her calling of being a CNA a few years later working at Villa Mary Immaculate, a skilled nursing facility in Albany, NY before it closed in 2005. Mom finished her career at the Eddy Village Green in Cohoes, NY after having two strokes and retired in FL with our dad. She absolutely adored her patients and loved what she did. Unfortunately our father went home to the Lord on June 30th, 2020 after struggling with lung cancer. After losing her soulmate mom became sick with lung cancer as well but passed away of a broken heart.
Mom will be sadly missed by her loving children Paula McCann (Kem Cummins Jr) of NY, Deidre & Frank Fallanca of OR, Kellie Legg of FL; as well her loving grandchildren Carmella Fallanca, Lucas Bell (Brianna Douglas), Declan McCann and Liam McCann. Her brothers Paul & Rhonda Magrum of FL and Michael & Karen Magrum of AZ. She is survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her late parents and husband she was predeceased by her youngest brother Stephen Magrum and nephew Christopher Linc Magrum.
Mom’s wishes were to be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held in NY at a later date.
