On Wednesday, January 1st 2025, Carmen (Myers) Young, 71, of New Port Richey, Florida, was carried on angel’s wings to heaven. Carmen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and Great-grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband, Mark Young; her daughter Renee (Blalock) Simon; her son Allen Blalock; and her Daughter Roseann (Blalock) Visconti. Dear grandmother to seven grandchildren. Also a Great-Grandmother to four great grandchildren. She will be missed by many. She was an amazing friend and aunt to everyone she knew. Many knew her as the flower lady because she loved to plant flowers. Her wonderful husband who would bring her home plants everyday. In the last couple of months when she started to become more ill, her favorite thing to do was to watch her two great grandchildren play in her home everyday while they visited. She was so proud when her youngest great-grandchild was born because she didn’t think she would be here to meet him and she was. Carmen will be forever missed and loved.
