Donna and family, I was befriended by John at the Human Rights Commission and considered him a lifelong buddy. I know the pain will take over, but so will the good memories. You need to know he is in a better place, away from suffering. I truly understand the good fight he had with cancer and the fight you joined him in. My heart goes out to you and I want you to know I am here to listen, share, or give you whatever solace I can offer. He was special as are you. I still recall his morning greeting at the Commission, “Another day in paradise.” He has truly made it and he will be with you from there. My son gave me a plaque I will share with you…” God has him in his arms. I (you) have him in my (your) heart.”
My love goes out to you and your family. I will dearly miss him.
