July 14, 1955~March 31, 2025

John A. Francis, 69, of Holiday, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025.

Born in Germany on July 14, 1955, John dedicated his life to helping others and enjoying simple pleasures. He was known for his generous spirit, always ready to lend a hand to friends and neighbors in need. You could often spot him with his signature look – glasses perched atop his head, perhaps even a bandana as well.

John was a retired postal worker, having served his community diligently for many years. Following his retirement, he found joy in driving a bus for Astro Skate, where he enjoyed transporting children to field trips and the roller skating rink, bringing smiles to their faces.

An avid cyclist, John could often be seen enjoying the Florida sunshine on his bike. Once a great baseball player himself, he carried that love for the game throughout his life, enthusiastically watching both the Boston Red Sox and the Tampa Bay Rays. He was also a devoted fan of the Tampa Bay Lightning.

For over a decade, John lovingly cared for his mother, Katherina Krupczak, demonstrating his deep devotion to his family.

He was predeceased by his beloved son, Wesley Francis, his mother, Katherina Krupczak, and his father, James Francis.

John is survived by his loving daughter, Amanda (Juan) Roman; cherished grandchildren, Jordy, Carson, and Presley; and his siblings, Nora Camp, Gilbert (Raquel) Francis and Randolph (Miriam) Francis.

We did not have a long time to spend together cycling the trails, the times we did were full of fun and laughter. In the years we knew each other our friendship grew stronger.
I was introduced to John’s family and friends and he always made me feel incredibly included.
The family and friends that I have met I look forward to continuing our friendship in memory of Johnny.
