Norman Owen of New Port Richey, FL passed away at the age of 84 on Monday April 7^th. He leaves behind his partner of sixteen years, Melissa Majors, and her daughter Sierra and her grandson Noah; five nieces and nephews and their families. Norman spent his early life in Southington, CT. He served in the United States Marine Corps where he made lifelong friends; Dick DeForest and Ron Niemann.

He had a successful career as the head of a Wire EDM department making custom tooling components for a large manufacturer. As a young man he enjoyed motocross racing and continued to ride motorcycles for many years. Other interests included karate where he was a black belt instructor and for many years, he enjoyed piloting his small plane.

In retirement, he enjoyed flying to see friends and was an avid golfer spending most of the week on the golf course. Norman was known for his quick wit, determination, and warm smile. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
