Richard Arthur Boyko, 75, of Port Richey, Florida, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Bayonet Point Hospital. Richard was born in Bristol, Connecticut to Matthew and Nancy Boyko. He owned White Dove Business and Financial Services in Port Richey, Florida, and worked as an Accountant and Financial Planner for nearly 40 years. Early in his adulthood, Richard enjoyed scuba diving, golf, and bowling. As he progressed in years, he took up fishing and boating. He also loved spending time with his fiancé Valerie Burris, his children, and his pets, Rex and Mittens. He loved to drive through the mountains, and he always took the scenic route if he could help it.
He is survived by his four children, Rachel Doty, Daniel Boyko, Sarah Boyko, and David Boyko, his son-in-law Steven Doty, Jr., his grandchildren Jaxon Doty and Isla Doty, his siblings Lynda Potts and James Boyko, his fiancé Valerie Burris, his former wife Robin Boyko-Marshall, and many cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as two brothers, William Boyko and, very recently, Robert Boyko.
As a longtime resident of Pasco County, Richard made many friends and clients over the years. All are welcome to join the family in celebrating Richard’s memory.
Flowers may be sent to the funeral home, or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Visitation will be held on August 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., with a service to follow at 11:00 a.m., at Thomas B.
