Anastasia Gribble, age 3, from Tarpon Springs, Florida, went to be with our Heavenly Father following a tragic and heartbreaking accident.
Born on June 20, 2022, Anastasia brought immeasurable joy to everyone she met. Though her time on Earth was brief, her spirit was radiant, her presence unforgettable, and her impact everlasting.
She was the treasured daughter of Francesca Damalos, who devoted her entire life to loving, nurturing, and protecting her precious little girl. Their bond was sacred and unbreakable.
Anastasia loved spending time with her Aunt Paula, of Tarpon Springs, and her Uncle Steven, whose joyful hearts filled her days with laughter and light. Her grandmother Heather “GiGi” Damalos and “Pa” John Damalos surrounded her with steadfast love and the true meaning of family.
She was also deeply loved by her great-grandparents; Steve and Frances Damalos of Tarpon Springs, Kenneth and Sharon (Kukoleck) Rice of Spring Hill, Florida, and Edward and Koneta Gribble of New Port Richey.
United in sorrow and faith, they are comforted in knowing Anastasia now rests in eternal peace with the Heavenly Father.
As she enters Heaven, she is joyfully greeted by beloved family who went before her, welcomed with open arms and surrounded by divine love.
Anastasia was a bright spirit; curious, kind, and deeply cherished. Her smile lit up every room. Her love lives on in all who knew her.
She leaves behind a family forever transformed by her life and her loss.
Anastasia also leaves behind her grandparents James and Mariena (Deeb) Gribble, The Deeb Family, The Gribble Family, including all of her aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her dearly.

I’m so sorry, Francesca! I only saw her as a baby, but I know how close you are to Sharon, who is one of my best friends. I’m sure you both, and Heather, are crushed. I don’t know the details, but any death of a beautiful child is a tragedy. I can’t help but literally cry for you all. You are a special person, so is your mother, and, especially your grandmother, Sharon.
