Patricia “Pat” Sorchy, 85, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025. Born in Brooklyn, New York on June 1, 1940, she later moved to Staten Island, New York, before making her home in Florida.

Patricia lived a full and vibrant life. She was involved in real estate and built a career as a dedicated Mary Kay consultant, while also devoting herself to her greatest role as a loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker.

She was happiest in her kitchen, where her passion for cooking and baking shined. Patricia never cooked for just a few—her meals were always made with enough love (and food) to feed twenty. She found joy in watching her family and friends gather around the table to enjoy her delicious dishes. Her famous crumb cake, cheesecakes, and endless trays of cookies will remain treasured family traditions.

Patricia is survived by her daughter Teresa & Son-in-law Patrick, stepchildren Paul (Julie) and Carolyn (Vic), six grandchildren—Jaimie (Robert), Anthony, Paulie, Jocelyn, Emily, and Ellen— three great-grandchildren, Kylie, Silvia, and Jack; as well as sister Marie. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Patricia’s life on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Dobies Funeral Home, 701 E Tarpon Ave, Tarpon Springs, Florida 34689.

Patricia’s love, warmth, and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of her family forever.
