John R. Wierenga Jr.
November 09, 1942~September 06, 2025
John Wierenga, 82, of Tarpon Springs, FL, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 6th, 2025.
‘Just John’ was the true definition of the term ‘renaissance man’. Starting as a young boy, he grew a paper delivery business. From there he joined the Navy. Throughout the years, he became a professional bowler, owner of an extermination company, and for the longest time he was an antique dealer. BUT, by far, his favorite job was when he was a car salesman. This is where he would sell a little sports car to a cute blonde, that would become the love of his life.
He is survived by his sister, Sharon (Jerry) IN; his brother, Dave (Diane) IN; his daughter, Kipp (Brook) IN; his stepdaughter, Stephanie (Dave) FL; his stepson, Steve (Dawn) MS; two sons (FL) & (MI); and last but not least, HIS GIRLS, Mya and Tiana.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy; his baby sister, Becky; one son, Dominick; and one stepson, Randy.
Celebration of Life events will be planned in the near future in both Florida and Indiana.
