Gene’s life was marked by a profound commitment to service. He took great pride in serving on the Board of the Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative. His dedication to this role reflected not only his desire to contribute meaningfully to the community but also his belief in stewardship and responsibility. Whether through formal service or everyday acts of kindness, Gene gave generously of himself—always ready with a kind word or helping hand.

To those who knew him best—and even those who met him only briefly—Gene was a beacon of warmth and sincerity. He never missed an opportunity to share the message of God’s love or offer encouragement rooted in faith. His generosity knew no bounds; he was truly a friend to all.

A man who lived a life of serving the Lord. That path led to countless people becoming the benefactor of his kindness and generosity. Gene’s example of how to treat others is a legacy that never goes out of fashion. He is one of those people who make you feel Blessed that you were able to cross paths. May each day bring peace to all the Little family.

Gene Little blessed the lives of everyone he met. He knew no strangers. To him, everyone was a child of God and therefore his brother and sister in Christ.
I am sure there is a long line of people welcoming him to Heaven thanking him for making their lives better. He touched so many with his smile, warmth, generosity, and love for His Lord.
I will never forget him – My husband Tony, son, Jimmy and I are better people simply because he was in our lives.
May God rain down his healing love on his wife, Linda, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers and friends.

My heart goes out to Gene’s family. I used to go to their house and play with his sister Mary. Their family was always a part of the community in all they did. May he rest in peace.
