Thomas C. Wren

September 17, 1942~December 05, 2025

Thomas C. Wren, 83, passed away on December 5, 2025, in our home, while under Hospice care due to advanced Parkinson’s Disease. As a young Marine in the 1960’s, he was stationed at Camp Lejeune. The contaminated water there was consumed and showered in by all. This created terminal issues for so many servicemen of the time. He became 100% Disabled Service Related thru the VA who supported him thoroughly through his health journey in our home.

Tom was proud to serve his country as a Marine during the Vietnam War. He also served with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office in Rochester, NY from 1977 to 2000 and retired as a Lt. Deputy Sheriff. He was a member of the Insulators Local #26 Asbestos Workers, CSEA, ARPALER and SOAR. He was a husband, Dad, Papa and friend to many. AND a devoted Buffalo Bills fan. Go Bills!

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Gehring-Wren, his son Spencer Wren, daughter Stacey Tesch (husband Ron), daughter-in-law Stephanie (husband Scott Wren); 4 grandchildren Gregory Wren, Nicholas Tesch, Amanda Tesch and Nicholas Wren, his sister Bonnie Fornabio (husband Mike) plus, many cousins in the US and Canada. He was predeceased by his first wife Paula (Seitz) Wren, son Scott and parents Charles and Myrtle (Cornwell) Wren.

He loved to exercise to always be the best he could be, play golf, Pickleball, Pool Volleyball, Day Trips in FL, walking for miles in the great outdoors, bike, watch a good movie and socialize with family and friends. His smile would light up a room. He made the best multi bean turkey chili. He spoiled Beverly because he loved to vacuum, mop, dust and always helped with dishes after meals. The list could go on…

Tom will be cremated with a request for no viewing or public service. He will be buried in Bushnell National Cemetery in FL with Military Honors on December 30, 2025.

Written by his wife, Beverly.

Tom was my everyday Hero, my everything.
