Presvytera Vasiliki Psarros was born April 7, 1932, on the island of Andros, Greece to Konstandinos and Filio Lavdas. She passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025. She was predeceased in death by her husband, Father Nikolaos Psarros, her parents, her daughter, Maria Kanakis, her brother Leonidas Lavdas, her sister Irini Skreki, her brother-in-law, Ioannis Karagiannis, and her brother-in-law, Dimitrios Psarros. Vasiliki is survived by her son, Ioannis Psarros and daughter-in-law, Athena Psarros, daughter, Filio Psarros, son-in-law, Andreas Kanakis and son, Konstandinos Psaros. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Costides, her sister-in-law, Antigoni Lavdas, her brother Dimitrios Lavdas and sister-in-law, Thalia Lavdas, her sister Helen Athanasoulis and brother-in-law, Nondas Athanasoulis, her brother-in-law, Spyridon Karagiannis, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Vasiliki was also blessed with many nieces and nephews.
Vasiliki was a homemaker and a devoted, loving, wife, mother and grandmother. Vasiliki was devoted to her Greek Orthodox faith as well as her strong values which she instilled in her family. She loved to play practical jokes on family and friends, and April Fools was her favorite day to carry out her jokes. Although we will miss her greatly, we know that she has received her Angel’s Wings and has gone on to join her family in heaven.
