Debora C. Clausen

Debora C. Clausen

November 04, 1964~January 06, 2026

Debora “Debbie” Christine Clausen, 61, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 6, surrounded by love and held in her devoted husband’s arms.

Debbie was born on November 4, 1964, in Hampton, Virginia, and lived a life rooted in faith, kindness, and deep devotion to family. She married the love of her life, Martin Clausen, on May 21, 2008. Together, they shared a beautiful partnership filled with laughter, quiet joy, and simple pleasures—gardening side by side and playing cards, especially Sequence, often amid friendly competition and smiles.

Debbie led with a servant’s heart. Her faith was not only spoken, but lived. She faithfully participated in prayer groups and lifted others up in prayer whenever they were in need. She had a rare and remarkable gift for making everyone feel seen, cared for, and welcomed—no one was ever a stranger in her presence.

A devoted mother and cherished “MeeMaw,” Debbie poured her whole heart into her family. Her love was steady, unconditional, and life-shaping, leaving an imprint that will be carried on for generations.

She is survived by her loving husband, Martin Clausen; her children Michael, Desiree, and Stephen; her stepdaughters Erica and Kristin; her cherished grandchildren JW, Rex, Duke, Madison, and Harper; her father John; her brother John; and many extended family members and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother Pat; her grandmother Evelyn; her grandparents Jack and Ellen Spencer; and her stillborn daughter, Brooke Alexa.

Debbie will be remembered for her servant heart, her steady faith, and the way she loved others so well.

A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held on January 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Family and friends are invited to share stories, offer prayers, and honor the beautiful life she lived.

Her family takes comfort in knowing she is at peace and surrounded by the love of the Lord.

More than anything, the family asks that you honor Debbie by loving your people a little harder, saying the words while you have the chance, and living with the same compassion she carried every day.

Debbie loved flowers, and they are welcomed and gratefully appreciated in her memory.
