I’m so very sorry to hear about my old friend passing away. I only remember him being the friendliest person in our class, going out of his way to help others or just be a friend to anyone that needed it. I have a very memorable moment in football when we went for a tackle on the opposing team, and we collided. He hit me much harder than I hit him, and he knocked me on the ground for a few moments. But he was immediately there to help me up and make sure I was ok, even as far as to sit out the next play just to make sure I was alright. I’ll always remember Stephen as a light in everyone’s life. He will surely be missed.

I am so saddened by the loss of this kind, big-hearted, happy person who brought goodness into the world. I went to school with Stephen from 6th-12th grade.
I remember his big laugh, deep voice, dynamic personality and fun, friendly, and intelligent soul. I hope you can feel his spirit with you whenever you need him.

Stephen was amazing.
I met him at football camp my freshman year. I was new at Liberty & I immediately felt accepted. Backwards hat & always laughing. I didn’t know him the longest, nor was I his closest friend, but we had many times I wouldn’t trade for the world. In a period of life where I was trying to figure everything out & learn how to be a person in this world, I got to do some of that with him & for that I am so thankful!
Always thought for some reason we’d meet back up.
I love you Stephen, you were & always will be a joy!

My heart broke when I heard the news. I knew Stephen (or “Fellows” as I called him) from college at NWOSU. He was always beaming that big smile and such a fun person to be around. He was a wonderful friend and will be missed dearly. Sending prayers and my sincerest condolences.
