Robert Peter Burns, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, formerly of East Islip, New York, passed away peacefully at home on February 11, 2026.
Bob shared 48 years of marriage with his loving wife, Mary Sue. He was a proud father to Melissa and a cherished “Pop-Pop” to his granddaughter, Kayla. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Ruth, along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Known for his strength, loyalty, and steady presence, he leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 715 E. Orange Street, Tarpon Springs, Florida 34689.
Bob will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Bob I told you I would look after the Girls and I will. you were a Great man a Great Pop, Dad, And Husband and most of all a Great friend to alot of people included alot of my friends that were in the restaurant business.
