He is survived by his five children: Jennifer Caruthers-Gibson, Ralph Hunt Caruthers, Timothy Lamar Caruthers, Frances Michelle Caruthers-Rooker, and Lisa May O’Geary, as well as sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren and one on the way. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Beverly, his sisters Dianna and Elizabeth, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin; his stepmother, Eleanor; his sister, Helen; his brothers, Timothy and Douglas; and his great-grandson, William.
Frank lived a life marked by personal challenges and complexities, and his relationships reflected that. In his later days, he made peace with his children, offering a moment of reconciliation that will be remembered by his family.
On March 25, 2026, his children and grandchildren gathered at Dobies Funeral Home in Holiday, Florida, for a private farewell.
