Paula Tasker, 74 of New Port Richey, Florida; formerly of Oakland Maryland, passed away on April 18^th, 2026 after battling cancer.  Paula was a devoted wife and mother who cherished her family and farm.  Paula had a heart of gold and adored her children. Paula loved the outdoors, animals, and her many plants and gardens.  Paula was preceded in death by her spouse, Christopher S. Tasker of Oakland, Maryland; her parents Gaver Augustis and Clara Elizabeth Wilson; her brothers Cecil Custer, Allen (Butch) Custer, Dwight Wilson; and Riley (Bud) Wilson; and grandson Dennis James VanPelt Jr.

Paula is survived by her children Stacy Zarnoch, Dennis James (Jennifer Burke) VanPelt, and Gaver A. (Gus) VanPelt; siblings Paul Russell (Claudia) Wilson, Karen Nash, and Myrna Edmonson; Stepdaughters Maria McDonnell and Janice Tasker; as well as grandsons Austin (Brittany) Graham, Paul VanPelt, and Noah VanPelt and step-grands Brianna Strauser, Mikey Welch, Kaylee Pennington, and Aiden Carmona .
